| To all fellow believers:
As we have seen in the past year, we must be ready for any disaster, may it be allowed by God though weather or caused by man. If you are not yet a member of the NHBA Disaster Relief Responders please join-up. This ministry is considered one of the best for serving God while serving our neighbors. There are many ways to serve: feeding, cleaning, rebuilding, or operations. Please contact the NHBA Director For Disaster Relief and ask him what is available. We are still sending teams down to the Gulf Coast to aid those in need. This shall be on going for a while. We still have to prepare for other areas of the US and the world, and let us not forget our own state needs as well. In His Love New Hampshire 2005 Flood Response:
Summary: 63 volunteers over a period of two weeks (never more than 20 at a time) cleaned out 35 homes/cellars in Keene and Alstead. We received very good coverage in the local paper, including a front-page spread with a color photograph of us bringing up buckets of mud out of a cellar. We were even able, with the help of a youth group from a church in Milford, to clean out one last cellar a week after our teams left. Thank you, everyone, for serving the distressed flood victims in Cheshire County, NH. John Brown An Open Letter to All Disaster Relief Responders: I would like to thank all members and non members for their help and witness in the Disaster Relief efforts in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Your response to this disaster has helped plant many seeds in Christ's name. The Southern Baptists have been noticed by not only the local (Keene area) residents but by the Red Cross, NH Governor, FEMA, and others. This, along with the response to the Gulf and the feeding the Mississippi refugees at Fort Edwards in Massachusetts, has placed us on the map concerning Disaster Relief.
