"need a scripture"
Hillside members built a float for the big parade and rounded up a few cowboys and cowgirls to ride the float and to hand out gospel-oriented wrist bands along the parade route.
At Memorial Field, we set up a booth in the craft area, but our objective was to hand out free bottles of cold water to hot, thirsty visitors. Many stopped long enough to take a gospel tract and talk a bit.
At the music stage, Hillside sponsored the Brunt Family Singers featuring Alan Frink. It was amazing to see how many people stopped to listen to their songs of faith, family, and serving the Lord. Scott Brunt later thanked us because a few people in the audience booked his group for local concerts.
